Grand Rapids Ballet

Located on Ellsworth off the intersection of Grandville and Wealthy, the Grand Rapids Ballet is the only professional ballet in all of Michigan. Under the artistic leadership of Patricia Barker since 2010, GR Ballet has attracted world-class dancers and produced incredible performances, generating international attention. They offer multiple styles of dances choreographed from 20th and 21st centuries and since opening have put on 56 different productions.

The Company is comprised of 24 professional dancers from the United States and around the world. Although the professional ballet has a shorter history, the ballet has actually been around since 1971. Learn about it’s fascinating start here.
